I could not charge for the time of knitting but if the cost is of the wool twice it allows me to sell a jumper hand knitted to order and buy wool for the next. If this costs too much at once, the knitwear can be paid for 2 balls at a time and when knitted up 2 more balls can be paid for until finished, sewn and delivered. The hand knits can be repaired, sometimes reknitting cuffs and collars or with visible mending.
